When I was contacted about rendering a new design into WordPress for SudanHelp.org, it came at a point in my life where my wife and I had been learning a lot about Africa and adoption in particular. Because of this, I was immediately on board with the project and excited to help in whatever way I could. On top of that, it was a great design and a challenging task to integrate a recurring billing sponsorship function to the website.
The site utilizes WP-Ecommerce to perform the sponsorships and the membership add-on to ensure recurring billing. The flickr area pulls the most recent photo from their flickr feed. There are also custom post types involved for a few of the pages. Overall this was an extremely satisfying project. I’m glad to have been involved!
